wintery weekend

there wasn't any snow, but the temperature here has certainly dropped following the gales of last week. fortunately this has also brought on sunshine...lots of it.

i went down to coventry this weekend. on saturday, davoud and i ventured out to the cathedral (so i could light some candles) and then onwards to a national trust site charlecote park. the building was closed, but we walked around the grounds, which were beautiful and very muddy. scared a few sheep, saw some deer, and experienced possibly the cleanest outdoor bathrooms in the world. it was really nice and we'll definitely have to go back in the summer when it's actually open!

sunday was pretty chilled. dinner with davoud's mum and brother, a nap for me, and a gig at taylor john's house. it was a very cool venue and we were treated to some canadian tunes by devon sproule and a few by the legendary richie havens before i just got too tired.

apparently my broadband is ready to be hooked up at home tonight so i should be properly back in action and only 7 weeks after moving!

The gig was great, Taylor John's is a good place to see music, shame they make photography so hard by having virtually no light.
