so this year for my 25th (not 26th mum) i'm planning a little kids birthday party complete with invites, birthday hats, loot bags, cupcakes, a bouncy castle...and of course a party dress.
i was thinking it was time to do something different because i'm not in the mood to just go out on the town. davoud (star that he is) found out that martha wainwright is playing an acoustic show at warwick arts centre near coventry, so the party's moved to dipak's house.
the week after i'm off again and found out hawksley workman is playing in london on june 1st *and* stuart mclean is reading at a book shop in london on may 31st! what great canadian luck and the makings of a marvelous post birthday week.
