an early christmas present

it really didn't feel like i had that much of a weekend.

friday was one of those days where all the little things just seemed to be going completely wrong, so i went round to val's after work for some pizza, wine, pretty in pink, and two kinds of chocolate ice cream. ben and jerry's was two for one at tescos ;)

on saturday davoud came up from cov. the highlight of the day had to be going to see ghostbusters on the big screen at 12:30 in the afternoon with a bunch of other 20-30 something geeks.

but on saturday night after enjoying some bevvies at the pub with sam, kel, lou and davoud, we all came back to our house to polish off a bottle of wine. after kel and lou left and the political debate started to intensify, i discovered that stuart mclean's show is broadcast on bbc radio 7! after a bit of research today i found out that it's actually broadcast not one, but three times every saturday. wahay!

happy christmas to me.

Ghostbutsers on the big screen was fantastic, if only because I now appreciate all of the saucy references that fly over the wee head of innocent 6 year olds.

Venkman speaking to the possessed Dana:

DANA (stroking him): I want you inside me.

VENKMAN (reluctant): I don't know. You've got two people in there already. It could get a little crowded.

My *personal* highlight was the sandwiches at ye Blackburne Arms. I challenge one and all to find a better Fish Finger sandwich (the perfect food for post-cinema) or a better Meatball and Cheese sandwich. I think someone needs to get the expert Graham foodie, Nick - not Sean, on the case.
